BBC Online has developed this "Cadillac" of online math games! If you don't have Shockwave already, it's worth downloading just for this site alone. Players can take a chance on the high school math game wheel or select their own favorite from among these comical, beautifully designed, and increasingly challenging interactive games:

Grid Game  (factors, multiples, powers, prime and triangular numbers)
Saloon Snap  (decimals, fractions, and percentages)
Builder Ted  (ordering whole numbers, decimals, and negative numbers)

Players try to beat the computer's car to the finish line by choosing mathematical expressions that have the highest value. Range of difficulty levels.  (Skills: mathematical operations, problem-solving, comparative skills)

Fun with integers-? It's possible!  (Skills: integers, number lines)

 Operation Order

Once they've mastered integers, players will enjoy this game, where the goal is to complete the missing blanks in equations.  (Skills: integers, order of operations, trial and error)

 Fraction Frenzy!

A fast-paced, Concentration-style game of matching equivalent fractions.  (Skill: simplifying fractions)

 Spacey Math

Players can improve their processing and retrieval speeds of simple arithmetic operations with this arcade-type space game. (Skill: reinforcement of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division tables)

 Shape Surveyor

Solve area and perimeter problems to reveal the picture of an archaelogical treasure. Different difficulty levels.  (Skills: math & pre-geometry)

 What's the Point?

Players try to beat their best scores by locating points on a simple graph.  (Skills: graphs)

 Number Cracker

Figure out the pattern in a series of numbers and fill in the missing one, in a game with increasing degrees of difficulty. Hint - have a calculator ready for the tough ones!  (Skills: identifying mathematical patterns and sequences)
